Very sunny & very quiet

By 2 in the afternoon, I felt the call to get out of the kitchen where I work and into the warmth outside.

The newly restarted school runs were noticeable soon after 3 but it was still unusually quiet.

Both boys have now had their Covid tests and school has “taken away their freedom”.
I find their take on lockdown funny. They’ve been shut in at home, but now they’ve been released, they’ve lost their freedom!
