Walking in the wild wind

Today’s walk was very windy and it has been raining most of the day but luckily not when we went out. The dogs seem to get excited to go out whatever the weather. There were various birds singing in the hedgerow and I saw a wren hiding in the undergrowth. There were a couple of birds flying high trying to make way against the wind, one seemed to mange a short distance but the other couldn’t make it so in the end they both flew with the wind, free in flight, way way above.
