Changing beauty
A couple of years ago this tree stood erect, if not actually full of life. Then it fell, revealing a beautiful bee hive, with a few bees flying around wondering what had happened to home, and a completely intact honeycomb. That was the last time I photographed it. Since then the fungi began to take over, and I was waiting for some good light before I shot it again. However, the fungi is now turning green and the brambles are advancing, so I snapped it this afternoon before it is lost in the next stage of evolution. Such wonderfully changing beauty.
