visited some friends today

the lady of the house is a serious bear collector... 'Taffy' bear was the first bear she bought many years ago

he's the only bear i know with his own portait - yes, 'Taffy' sat for his water colour portait - and a fine picture it is... really captures his likeness

i knew today's blip would be bear orientated, knowing the lady of the house and her serious bear collection - and was perusing which bear to pick out of the many collector's pieces - when the tale was told of Taffy and his portrait - so here it is, my blip of the day...
