Gotcha !

Today has been a good day - I finally got the pesky varmint.

Kingfisher - let's call him that.

I could hear kingfisher cries, then a flash of blue all day.
In fact, you know when you look at a lightbulb, then look away and you see the form of the lightbulb?
Well that's what I've been getting all day with kingfishers.

I was also distracted by coypu, sleeping on a log opposite me, swans gliding by, moorhens, coots, woodpeckers, buzzards and some little ducks I've never seen before.

All in all, a great day, lovely weather and lots of wildlife.
