Disaster.

Tanni didn't like the way I'd planted the garlic plants yesterday. One of the beds had been pulled out, dug over, and generally destroyed. She was well and truly in the "dog house". Rescued them as best as I could, but have lost some, and the labels telling me the varieties.

Once forgiven, a walk down to the shore for a swim in the sea, Tanni, not me. Threw her ball and the wind caught it , and took it out of her depth. It's now floating off towards Handa..

Then round to J and G's for a birthday drink with G, his 60th. Tried this neat first, but at 60.5% proof, was a bit strong. Added some water, and the flavours poured out. Very fruity, oranges, and a hint of peat, but not overpowering.

Home now, and waiting for tea, hens shut up, zoo fed, fire lit, life is all good..
