Beech Ready

Today's image is of our rather decrepit garden parasol which is currently ensconced in our beech hedge. We have a large beech hedge down one side of our garden which turns from green to a copper colour in autumn before it loses it's leaves but for some reason this year it has kept all it's copper leaves. I just loved the contrast in colours between the leaves and the parasol.
The weather was so lovely today I almost felt like putting the parasol in the back of the car and heading for a beach so I could sit under it reading a book looking out to sea - sadly only a distant pipe dream due to the current restrictions.
