Catkins in the sunshine

Beautiful morning and my friend after her recent 3rd dose of chemo was feeling up for a short walk, so off we went  down by the river, which I was glad to see was considerably calmer than the last time we walked there, and the ground underfoot was also considerably drier so no muddy boots to deal with this time.

It's my friend's Birthday on Sunday so I think I'll make her a card this afternoon and plan to make some gluten-free chocolate brownies later on in the week (recipe kindly shared by SandraSuisse) which, if they are as delicious as SS's and not like the bricks I made last week! I'll share with her too.
