Ken Buchanan

Walked down Leith Walk and came across this.
Ken is now 75 years of age and not keeping in good health I gather. In his prime he was probably the best boxer in the UK and fought 69 bouts & only lost 8 times.
I remember he owned a hotel & bar in Edinburgh and was always the convivial host.
I believe that there was talk of a statue to be raised of him in the town but don’t think it has come to fruition.
