Roots

Took myself into new territory on Monday afternoon. I had driven past and walked past Dales Wood, near Denny several times but had never gone into the woods themselves. The Ordnance Survey map on my phone suggested there was one path that crossed the wood, but that was all. An investigation was called for.

In the event there was a path, but it didn't seem to match that on my map (I suspect the OS map on my phone is an out-of-date version). There were also a few muddy trails in what is actually a small wood and lots of fallen trees. It was an interesting little diversion and I may well return soon.
