Olympia Milk Bar

It’s possibly the most well-known milk bar in Sydney, the subject of radio segments and weekend feature articles. Since the cinema next door closed, its fortunes have waned to the point where the electricity is turned off. An elderly Greek man runs it. He used to cross the six lanes to the supermarket opposite each morning as I waited at the bus stop. This evening I caught a glimpse of him inside.

Pub trivia tonight. After our resounding success last time, rewarded with a $50 bar voucher, we were equal last after the first round and invited to tally the better teams’ results.
