Meeting house

I’ve lived near here for ages, but this is the first time I’d noticed this commemorative plaque. So, thank lockdown for that.

Exciting to think that this very house saw a meeting between a true literary giant, and Sir Walter Scott, along with the first recorded use of the phrase “You’ll have had your tea!”
