Brush and mirror

I never had long thick hair that I would be inclined to brush 100 strokes before bed with a brush like this. This set is on display on a chest in the guest room for some reason. They belonged to David’s deceased 2nd spouse. They are silver and quite pretty but have not been used in over 20 years. Why he holds on to so much stuff I will never know.
