(068) Dunnikier Woods

One of my regular bike routes between Glenrothes and Kirkcaldy can be made more interesting by taking some of the off-road options that exist. In this case the track through Dunnikier Woods is much preferable to the tarmac option past garages and supermarkets. At the next point of decision though, I got it wrong. Instead of taking the relatively boring path and tarmac option I chose to continue on Johnny Marhall's loan which I discovered was still very muddy and slippery in too many parts to be enjoyable for cycling. Think I'll leave it a few months before heading back that way again.
