Work required

The sun was out again today which is lovely to see.  I went outside at lunchtime for a few minutes to look at the garden.  Rich cut the grass yesterday but once again quite a bit has died over winter.  We will start work to recover it in a few weeks. It is not as bad as last year so hopefully in about a month it will be looking much better.

I have given the flower beds a top dressing of compost so they look fresh.  A few things are starting to come through so hopefully we will have lots of flowers this year.  We also got some new planters for the garden, big wooden ones.  Hopefully these will not need as much watering as the smaller pots I had before.  The one in my photo is my herb one outside the kitchen window.

A busy day at work and this evening I had to pack up a few things that had sold on eBay.  A trip to the post office tomorrow.
