Lunch , Alfresco style....

Usual morning feeding cattle, then loaded 6 heifers into the trailer, 2 dogs plus me into the Landrover and headed off to St Boswell’s mart. The A68 was fairly quiet so presume most folk are sticking to the stay at home rules, unlike the Rangers fans in Glasgow yesterday !
Unloaded cattle, queued at the wash bay , trailer washed out then headed up to the canteen which is now doing takeaway out the back door. Went for the scampi and chips option but had to stand and eat it on the front wing of the Landrover , in the drizzle,as the terrier would have demolished it if I sat in the cab !
Then headed off to the timber yard for a couple of 25 kg boxes of nails, then called in at my mechanic pal to collect various spares. Back up the road by 2.30pm then mucked out and bedded a shed once all the staff went home and left me in peace !
Had everything done and cattle back in by 6pm , so quite happy . Finished up and in for tea by 7 pm, even though it was cold ,despite sitting on a plate on the top of the AGA. At least the terrier hadn’t managed to reach it !
