Space Invader
This is white butterbur, an invasive species apparently, which thrives along the river at Quarrymill woodland walk. It is mainly found in the Northeast of Scotland and its flower spikes appear before its leaves.
Wish I could post a picture of the rainbow I saw today - the brightest and closest one I've ever seen, but I was driving on the dual carriageway and couldn't stop.
