Sitting down on the river bank I heard birdsong and looked up to see the little Blue Tit in the Alder, it also seemed to be collecting bugs from the Alder catkins and cones.    There's been a lot of activity in the bird boxes the last few days, but I'm hoping it hasn't got young with the frosty nights we are having at present.    Not very often you get to see one from this angle.
