A walk on the beach

Surprisingly quiet at Roosebeck today, despite it being a Sunday and usually busy. The tide was well out so we had a long leisurely stroll and as few people were about Fletch could be off his lead.)

Back home and changed the sheets and heaved round the mattress. The washing machine didnt like the king size fluffy sheet and the drum began to make the most alarming knocking noise. It finished the cycle ok but I dont think I'll put the other in straight away till the rest of the lighter washing is done as it occurs to me that with lockdown its no longer a matter of popping down the shops  to look for an alternative if it conks out and we have to buy another,
