we arrived in the beautiful peak district today for a weekend of walking. marvellous. arrived in time for real ale and bowl of chips at the local.

we stayed at hartington youth hostel, which i would heartily recommend. there were some idiots complaining, but there will always be idiots complaining. if all you have to complain about is a lack of tomato in your packed lunch, your life probably isn't a great deal of fun. we found the youth hostel to be utterly delightful with plenty of local walks to do from the hostel.
