A bit of normalness
In England the schools went back for the first time in months. Personally it made little difference to my daily life but it was nice just hearing kid noises when they were out at playtimes.
My returning to normalness was different. I went to the petrol station, very rare occurrence so far this year.
I bought a coffee for the first time in months and months. Its not the same doing takeaways as I enjoyed sitting in the shop for half an hour with a book and a coffee, but better than nothing. One thing has not changed, the way the sizes are named. Their drive through menu showed two sizes of Flat White so I asked for a large. "we don't do large , only small and mini". I suppose I should have asked for the largest rather than a large.
I got the tractor mower out and cut the lawn, that's why I had to go to the petrol station as both cans were empty. The first cut is never good, the lawn looks battered but it will come back quickly and look good, I hope. It would have been better if it had not started drizzling about 5 minutes after I began cutting. This meant that lots of clumps were dropped by the mower and I could not see very well due to rain on my glasses. But clumps picked up and glasses cleaned and I am glad now that I was pig headed and decided to finish it.
And I have a date for my second injection, roll on 19th April
