Whilst in Devon..

Big and blousy

That's how we describe flowers like this.
I have tried to tone it down but it really is as bright as it looks. This was growing in my 93 year old mother -in-law's garden, down in Portsmouth.

My wife had been staying with her for the last four weeks of her life arranging 24 hour care and medical help in her own home before she passed away. And since then she has been arranging all the things that need to be done in these situations. My wife didn't want me there in order to limit any unnecessary exposure to Covid-19. I joined her a few days ago as we get ready for the house to be cleared and eventually sold.
I have to say she was a remarkable woman. She was the type of person who could remember word for word pretty well every conversation, situation and event in her whole life. Never, since I have known her, has she repeated anything. And yet she spent much of her time recounting events from her past.
Me? I have trouble remembering what I had for breakfast!
