at the lead mines

We went for a lovely walk today - from Barnaslingan - near The Scalp - to Shankill via Carrickgollogan and the leadmines. We used to picnic here when we were young, and I remember feeding Ritz crackers to the kid goats - fond memories! Had a lovely lunch in Bradys in Shankill afterwards and then brought my slightly tired body home.
