Spent my birthday at the Museum of Rural Life with my wonderful boys who've spoilt me rotten. The staff at the museum are also rather wonderful. They gave us a tour of the underground farm machinery store which isn't generally open to the public. This should help eldest with his inventions homework project, given to him two weeks ago, due in tomorrow!

By the end of the day the pair of us will have an encyclopaedic knowledge of the history of the combine harvester. How else would I choose to celebrate my birthday?
