Trent and Mersey Canal

A very cold, dull grey day this morning so we had a change of plan and started to meander home. The sun did come out for a while and we decided to go through the Delamere Forest but by the time we got there the blue sky and sun had gone again. We drove through the forest and stopped for a short walk round the Anderton Nature Reserve next to the famous Victorian boat lift.

Now back home. It has been a lovely few days which has done me the world of good. I feel about 95% fit now, just can't shake the last bit. One more day of holiday and then its back to work!
