Mum's Tulips

Today's 'deliveries' to my Gran's porch were tulips in time for Mothers' Day, and a birthday present for my niece, who is turning 7. They will each be collected through the week.

My Gran loved her tulips too, I chose white and purple for her. We took a wee walk around the block, since it was warm and sunny enough for her to be outside. She also complimented me on my scrambled eggs on toast, which I only ever make for her as nobody in my household eats them, myself included.

Plans are being put in place for my Gran to go into a care home. She has done very well to still be living fairly independently, and will be 102 next month, but is now really struggling with anxiety when she is alone. It's very difficult to leave her, as she starts to worry as soon as she senses you getting ready to go.
