Blossom

I’d always thought this tree was a copper beech, but they don’t have blossom apparently. Anyway, it has copper leaves, and this lovely delicate pink blossom.
It was cloudy and a bit chilly today, and I started weeding the front garden, but the amount of weeds was so daunting that I gave up, came inside and started cooking roast chicken, roast potatoes, Yorkshire puds, carrots, sprouts and broccoli!
In the extra is my dad, holding the anniversary card sent by the Queen!
