Light at the end of the tunnel

So it’s been a weekend of celebrations so far and we’re making 5 days of it - one for every decade by the time we reach the big day itself on Tuesday!

Yesterday we had fun in the hot tub (we even got Mum to try it) and we had a visit from Mr Whippy’s ice cream van. We had a lovely dinner - At Home from Côte - highly recommended - and drank lots of bubbles.

Today I met my daughter for a walk as she can’t join the celebrations due to restrictions. It was lovely to see her and we’re lucky she’s not far so we could meet at Virginia Water - arguably still “local”.

More time in the tub this afternoon and a doorstep drop off from a friend followed by some home made Mexican food and Margaritas - more of my favourites!

And there’s more tomorrow apparently ! Maybe turning 50 isn’t so bad afterall!!!
