Are you my mother?

This image makes me think of the book by PD Eastman called 'Are you my mother?' It was a favourite story for so many children over the years.

The birds always flock when the ground is disturbed and I think they were all quite lucky. 

Our son and his family came here for a picnic lunch because today is Tilly's 8th birthday. When she was asked what she would like to do for her birthday she said she would like to come and visit us. She opened her gifts and was delighted to be given a robotic dog. She has wanted a robot for some time. The two girls took it in another room after lunch and we could hear lots of laughter. I'm afraid our photos were not very clever as we were not quick enough.
