Abandoned towers

These towers were used for radar and antenna testing by Ferranti, but have been derelict for some time. Apparently the land was leased from the railway in 1964 for 99 years and the towers were built there ( this is right next to the cycle path at Crewe Toll). The land has since been bought by a company registered in Jersey - not sure what this means, but one would imagine it’s a prime site for development.
