For me Sunday is all about comfort food.
My comfort is simple veg pie. I just chucked purple cauliflower florets at the bottom of little cast iron trays, added sugar snaps, tender stem broccoli and asparagus. I've added doubled cream flavoured with salt, pepper, freshly ground nutmeg, chilli flakes, paprika and chopped garlic. Lastly I sprinkled it with home made breadcrumbs, meaning I used one of my stale breads I bake with loads of garlic and parsley.
So far so good, smells gorgeous just baking now in the oven.
I'm going to serve it with baked garlic & thyme potato with great chunk of green salad.
