Spuds planted

I always plant them when the moon is waning. 
The old folk in this area used to plant on Good Friday, I think with climate change it seems to work 4 weeks earlier now, it has worked OK for the past few years.
 I can usually dig them in the first week of June.
Don't I live an exciting life!
