Old Cemetery

This morning we drove down to Baronshaugh nature reserve near Motherwell. Not a huge amount of wildlife posing for photographs; a couple of heron, a pair of goldeneye, three whooper swans several assorted tits and numerous gulls. Mostly they were either too far away or just would not hold still for long enough. So, what else of our surroundings? The once extensive grounds of Dalzell House (pronounced "Dee-ell") are now slowly falling into genteel decay but still provided several possibilities. I rather like this view of the old cemetery behind the mausoleum with great clumps of snowdrops punctuating the drooping headstones. Vey peaceful too!
