Little Owl

Met a friend for coffee at Dobbie's garden centre, don't know if they do it in England but here they often have a bird of prey centre and usually have a couple of birds outside for people to see. This little owl is called a 'Little Owl'. The owners have a donation bucket out and I always put something in - today as soon as I crouched down for this shot the woman rushed over and said, rather brusquely, 'excuse me, if you want to take photos we ask for a donation' and when I opened my hand and said 'I have it here ready' she became as nice as pie!! There was also a young kestrel that seemed to have a bit of a broken beak, but didn't get chance to ask about it.

Then to the supermarket for a mammoth shop to fill the freezer and storcupboards. dinner in the oven, a bit more cooking then the semi final of Dancing on Ice!!
