Ivy Byng during her first visit to the hairdresser

Somewhat ambitiously I took my two youngest children with me when I went to get my haircut. It worked out all right though especially when Ivy discovered James Galvin's many combs which she insisted on running through her skimpy hair.

Here the three of us are: James snipping away at my hair, Ivy wondering what the fuss is all about and me snapping all three of us in the mirror.

God knows where Nathaniel is at this point. I think eating a packet of crisps in the barber's chair beside me!

I wonder when Ivy will have her first hair cut?
