Down on the beach

I'm a little behind with my blips so I won't write too much.  It was a fabulous day, and we were out so early we ate both breakfast and lunch in town. Between those two meals we walked on the beach at Smitingen, then followed the path to Klubbsjön, a small lake a short way inland. That lake was well and truly frozen so we walked around the small island in the lake on the ice (extra). It was very thick and you could see quite a long way into the ice so we felt truly safe. Other people were also out. The ice "boomed" now and again with a deep sound that seemed to go on and on.
The photo I blipped looks almost unreal but is virtually straight from the camera (phone). In case you think it looks warm that white on the left of the beach is ice above a small stream that flows into the sea.
