Woodhall Loch
The promise of sunshine never materialised today and with the wind blowing from the North it was a very chilly day indeed.
A day spent making bread and chopping up wood for the fire.
Last year there was an evening in July when a fire was necessary so I try to ensure there is enough logs and kindling to last the winter and for those unexpected days where Scotland decides to throw a bit more winter at us.
There is a reason that they say you can have all 4 seasons in a day in Galloway :)
The picture is of my view while I was chopping up logs.
