Late afternoon sunshine

Now the days are getting longer, I love going for walks in the late afternoon. I like peeping into the gardens as I walk by and before the hedges get leaves again. I liked this scene with the lantern and red berries and the little pagoda style construction and the sunshine was filtering through the bamboo shoots in the background.

I had a chat with my son on our mobile phones. It's always nice to catch up with the news and exchange ideas. I'm not sure that we'll see each other this year yet as his age group is nowhere near being vaccinated. We need to be patient still.
