looking back

Hubby and I took ourselves and Jasper out for a walk this afternoon round the loop and up the scholars path. It is called the scholars path because it is the way the school children used to walk to school in the old days. The school is about 3 miles further down Braes, which does n't sound that far but I can imagine it would have been pretty horrible walking that distance in the wind and rain, and no doubt sometimes in the dark in winter.
