Red-tailed Hawk

We were up earlier than usual today, partly due to the excitement of getting to pack for a road trip! Tomorrow we are leaving for a VRBO in Grand Junction, CO. But I digress. Usually we see the hawks in the trees around the field we walk through, but this morning we saw this one along a neighborhood street.
I'm looking forward to having a new environment to photograph starting tomorrow!
