When I was over the road I could use this much fuel in a single day but driving so many less miles now, this last a few days. The current truck I drive averages 8 miles per gallon which is considered standard for the type of hauling I do. When I used to do heavy haul, I had my favorite motor the Cummins N14. That engine would climb mountains even at 105,500 pounds but only averaged 4 miles per gallon. Those days my boss was very happy if we managed to get 5 mpg somehow..

Saturday will be a day of going here and there...
