Destroyed

The old house was destroyed by fire. I've posted blips like this one in the past. It often had really great shadows on it from the old trees in the garden. It's been vacant for years and was a bit on an eyesore, but it's still a shock to see it burned. We don't know if it was set on fire by the owner of the property or maybe the fire department or by an arsonist. I'll be keeping an eye out for information. A couple of other images in extras.
We went to recycling and to the grocery store today, a quick trip to town. A lovely sunny afternoon but windy. Several ferries between the mainland and Vancouver Island were cancelled. No power outages so far!
