End of COVID home school!!!!!!! For now at least. The children have danced, played games, won prizes, eaten a ridiculous amount of sugar..... and now they’re in bed and we are opening fizz and eating a meal supplied by Rick Stein and feeling relieved that no-one appears to have broken. We’re tired but, I think, stronger.

Gratefuls:

1. Grace abounding these last months, thank you Lord;
2. Getting to see my nieces for the first time since August. They’ve had to isolate for 2 weeks so it seemed like a safe moment to form a childcare bubble and enjoy their company whilst my sister did some jobs - a last minute coming together of plans and it was SO GOOD. I could have wept watching them all run around playing like they always have;
3. This meal we’re about to eat - smoked mackerel pate, hake and sticky toffee.
