Listened to music: Carla Bley (Trio and Big Band), Karen Tweed, Karen Mantler, Keith Jarret (thankfully without his kazoo), Robert Wyatt, Ian Carr, Arvo Part, John Scofield (King of Abstract), Lulu and the Luvvers.

Called friends in Newburgh who have put their house up for sale – they are trying to move back closer to Meldrum (Blip exclusive).

At the back of ten CMC was playing the piano (not at Bezique) and I was on the phone.  Our neighbour Andy came along in his van.  CMC waved at him and went out to see him.  The van drove away – it was someone else with an identical van.  Inside the porch was a bottle of whisky that had not been posted.  A message was attached from friends in Joppa.  We hadn’t noticed Donald swimming across the Flow.

Today my main concern was taming a very feisty Craigellachie.  It was that cold in the Shack that my dram was full of scotch mist.
