A Day With Sophie!

For the first time since the beginning of January we were able to enjoy Sophie’s company today: she’s been going to school this lockdown as Kate’s a key worker but the school had an INSET day today so they could test Yr 11 students for COVID before they come back on Monday and prepare for the return of all other students next week. Kate obviously had to go in so we were delighted to provide some emergency child care.

We had great fun doing puzzles, playing board games and going to the park where this blip was taken. It was just like “the old days” and wonderful to have a taste of normality. Hopefully not long before days like this become the norm again.
