A Bunch of Keys
Today's instruction for the March Inspirational Challenge was 'take a picture of a key'.
I went one better and took 'A Bunch of Keys'. I was thinking this morning about how to be creative and remembered from school that the French word for key is la clef (or la cle) and that these symbols at the beginning of every line of music are called treble and base clefs. Apparently that's because they tell you what key the music is in. I say apparently because I have very few musical bones in my body and none of them understand music but some of them appreciate it (a lot). My husband, on the other hand is very musical. He has a wonderful singing voice and plays the guitar. People pay to listen to him but I am lucky to be able to listen to live music whenever I want (he has to be 'in the mood' of course!!).
