Views from a casa nova

I stole this one from my own Instagram post, a great spot to have a coffee :) we have officially emptied the other house just in time for the new tenant to arrive, and unbeknownst to the landlord (we have another key that we are putting through the letterbox) been removing stuff up until the last minute.

In Portuguese class we have learned there are three different words for scarf, which actually makes loads of sense as a summer scarf is really different to a winter scarf. We also talked a lot about Morna, the music from Capo Verde. Now we are listening to Cesária Évora, the barefooted “queen of morna”.
