The Brook

Another dull day which did lift a little towards the end of our afternoon walk.  We cut through the greenery by the brook near home and I saw this tree in blossom.   A picture for Flower Friday hosted by BikerBear.

Along Bishopton Lane where the fields are being dug up and prepared for a massive housing development the roadside bushes are being stripped back and dug up destroying a raft of wildlife habitation, just at the time that the birds are nesting.  Some trees appear to be spared though they too are being drastically cut back.  It is so upsetting to watch the destruction.
