Another trip down to Dee Why Rockpool

Our son has finished up his job delivering pizzas.  Fri, Sat, Sun pizzas, Mon, Wed, Thu sport, Tue Chinese restaurant.  Too much for someone in their final year of schooling and we only have the one car.

The three of us stayed home for a take-away Thai.  After that J and I went with Ellie back down to Dee Why Rockpool again.  Another quiet evening although nowhere near as quiet as last Monday. Restaurants close at about 9:30-10:00 and there are no clubs down here on the beach.

There are a few coloured few lights in the Norfolk Pines on The Strand - acknowledgement of tomorrow's Mardi Gras - still going ahead this year but not the grand parade that it's always been - hope it springs back next year.

That said, Sydney's pretty well now in the mode of "Covid, oh yeah I remember that."  We have been very lucky here - helps living on an island - but then plenty of other islands have not had quite the same approach.
