A pool of calmness in this world

Yesterday was bitterly cold, M and l went to the local nursery to get some seed potatoes and then a quick walk in local park. After that it was an indoors day.

I read with dread that New Zealand had 3 largish earthquakes off the northeast coast yesterday triggering evacuations from coastal areas. I have several friends living in the areas evacuated and although the tsunami warnings been removed and people have returned to their homes it is still worrying, my phone will be busy early this morning.
